Preemptive Retaliation

I started writing a blog when I was fifteen years old, when there were less people yelling at the internet. Back then I used it as a place to vent, share and, well, just talk. That one finished, and I started another one, and when that one faded away I started another, and another and etcetera. There’s a special type of exhibitionism that blogging provides. Look! Here’s what I’m thinking! Come understand me! I liked the idea of that.

Then I stopped writing blogs and wrote a book instead. That, in itself, is another exhibitionist act. Look at me! it yells. Look! This is what’s inside me! This is what I feel!

So, yeah. I wrote a book.
