Preemptive Retaliation

The site and blog of Joe Timms, writer.

I bought the new Zelda

And it’s pretty much consuming my evenings now. There’s something strangely addictive about exploring the world. I feel like I’ve done so much, but from screenshots and other things it looks as though I’ve barely scratched the surface.

I am on the final hurdle of my Open University course, which I’m procrastinating from right now, right this very moment. I have a lot still to do, but I am trying not to think about that.

Mike and I are back doing Writing Practice, which was fun. My story is nothing special, but it was good to stretch my fingers for a session. After my course is finished I’m looking forward to writing something again, something longer and more serious. The detective story is still there, but I think I’ve thought about that too much now. Over thought it (over thunk it?). There’s something new, but old, playing on my mind that I want to explore instead.

Anna and I have been in talks with a Financial Adviser. He has Advised us that we can get a Mortgage. We will soon get a Mortgage and Move House. I am feeling very Adult about this.

At least I still have my videogames.
