So, I’ve sold out of the first edition of my book.
Not gonna lie, that’s filling me with more than a glimmer of pride.
So it means that thirty-plus people have a copy of my first and (so far) greatest work of fiction. Some of them are even reading it! They’re reading it with its spelling mistakes and punctuation errors and indentation mess ups. When I sold my first copy I flicked through it to make sure that it was all ok and immediately spotted three mistakes. Ten minutes later a friend messaged me with a few more. But I didn’t care. Someone had bought my book.
And now thirty-plus people have bought my book.
I know that this site is full of me saying that. Every post is about me squeeing over the fact that I am now a capital-W Writer. That might change eventually, but not any time soon. I’m still riding this high.
Another printing is on its way. With less mistakes. But not none mistakes.
